Results of the Trash Service Vote
The board received 287 responses from the community vote for trash services. The official count was 160 for no recycling, 115 for service with recycling, and 12 votes to retain Tommy Miles. The board voted to immediately terminate our relationship with Tommy Miles. Best Trash was not able to provide services to our community for several reasons. The Board has been in contact with multiple trash companies and has voted tonight to enter into a 3 year agreement making Direct Waste Solutions Inc. the sole trash provider for our community. Direct Waste Solutions will be in the subdivision beginning Tuesday, Nov.8 at 7:00 am and will mail the letter below to each resident.
